Pioneered the AI Agent Builder, letting customers create RAG-backed AI agents from their own prompts and sources and deploy them directly into their chat experience. Architected the “Bring Your Own Agent” framework — a model-agnostic ecosystem that plugs agents built on LangChain, LangGraph, Mastra and other popular stacks into CometChat. Made the documentation AI-ready: rebuilt integration guides and docs so coding agents and MCP clients integrate CometChat correctly from current, working examples. Shipped one-command, skills-based integration that detects the project’s framework, sets up the app and guides feature enablement end to end.

Director of Engineering @ Freecharge (Axis Bank DBAT) Jan 2022 - Aug 2024 End-to-end technical ownership of five banking products, including Axis Bank Credit Cards (1M+ daily users) and the Axis Direct stock trading app — built from scratch for Android, iOS and web. Scaled systems to support millions of concurrent users through high-velocity events like billing and payment cycles. Established engineering governance and compliance frameworks aligned with RBI guidelines, AppSec and InfoSec standards. Spearheaded the SubZero design system (native Android/iOS SDKs), the ONDC government e-commerce initiative, a ground-up revamp of the rewards platform, and a personal finance manager.

VP - Engineering @ Servify (Founding Team) Sept 2015 - Dec 2021 Growth path: Lead Engineering (Mobile) → Director → Sr. Director → VP Day 0 team member: built the after-sales service and device-lifecycle platform from concept to global scale, with rollouts across North America, Europe and China. Delivered device care and digital insurance programs for marquee partners including Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Amazon, Google, Jio, Vodafone and Airtel. Patented an AI/ML crack-screen detection system (on-device TensorFlow) that unlocked insurance sales for in-use devices; built fake-device detection diagnostics that prevented return fraud for e-commerce partners. Grew engineering from 5 to 50+, hiring graduates and mentoring them into leads; defined the mobile architecture and public APIs/SDKs for insurance, service workflows and diagnostics.

The Observatory

Co-Founder @ The Observatory Jul 2014 - Sept 2015 Co-founded a mobile app development company in Mumbai; bootstrapped and led a team of 10+ developers. Shipped apps for PayTM Insider, MTV, Lupin Pharma, Prolific Interactive (New York), Heady and several startups.
